"I recently purchased a large unwieldy piece of equipment from a seller in
Toronto. The longarm quilting machine has a 4 foot long sewing head and 12 foot
long table with one piece rollers. We were going to UHaul, then found out their
website has some major issues with accuracy. In a panic I went on line and found
Navis. I phoned Cathy Dance, explained the situation, and she went to work. She
had the machine picked up from the seller, crated, and shipped to me. This was a
tremendous assistance. Frankly, if I hadn't located Navis, the whole purchase
would probably have fallen through. Instead, the machine is safely here in the
shop. Her packing solution was ingenious and helped make this whole thing
affordable for me. Her good humor and can-do attitude made the whole transaction
a really good experience."

"Navis picked up my items, carefully packed/wrapped them in their Union City
facility, and then contracted out the shipping with a partner shipper. My move
consisted of: couch, large matching chair, ottoman, telephone table, coffee
table, 2 bikes, and six medium-to-large boxes of household goods. These were
moved 3000+ miles from our home in Oakland to the curbside in Chapel Hill, NC.
The whole process including pick-up, packing (they packed the furniture, we had
packed the boxes), and shipping took just under two weeks. Navis also offers
several different packaging levels depending on what is shipped and/or your
comfort level. I used the middle-of-the-road option, which is very thorough.
Navis did a PERFECT job and I HIGHLY recommend them! Everything was picked up on
time and arrived on time, at the same time, and in pristine condition. Navis was
friendly and communicative throughout the process and used a good partner
shipper to ensure things went smoothly on the delivery end. Overall, Navis was
BY FAR more economical than the other truck companies (plus I didn't have to
drive one of those beasts across country) and all of the various "PODS" type
options I looked into. Because, they don't have minimum weight requirements, I
didn't get charged for 2,000 lbs etc. for what was a 600 lb load (excluding
packaging/pallets Navis added later to protect my stuff). The nearest competitor
was over $500 more (50% more) for door-to-door pickup/delivery and that doesn't
even include packing."

belongings from Woodbury CT., to Fredericksburg TX and we couldn't have been
more pleased with your whole operation.
Your crew that loaded our things were on time (early actually) something we
found hard to believe after our other experiences. They were quick, pleasant,
and professional. Delivery at our home in Texas through Yellow Freight, again
was not only on time--but early… unheard of in past moves.”
